Safety tips
Most members are who they say they are. These habits protect you from the few who are not, especially from investment scams.
- Never send money to a member, and never pay a fee to “release”, “unlock” or “process” an investment. Real investors and founders don’t ask for that, and Seedinity never does.
- Be wary of guaranteed or very high returns, pressure to decide quickly, and anything involving crypto, trading platforms, wallets or gift cards.
- Check who you deal with: their LinkedIn profile, their company’s registration and website, people who know them. The Verified investor badge helps, but it is not a guarantee.
- Keep the first conversations on Seedinity. Scammers often push to move to WhatsApp or Telegram quickly, away from our checks.
- Share sensitive documents only when you need to, and never your passwords, bank logins or card details.
- Before any investment, use proper written agreements and get independent legal and financial advice.
- Something feels wrong? Report the profile, project or message: our team looks at every report.
